It's Car Show Season

This is the time of the year we have all been looking for. Warm weather and car shows. I have been to quite a few shows here in the Pacific Northwest, and everyone is excited about the warm sunny weather we are having. It is surprising how many nice rides come out of the woodwork when we have a sunny day here. I enjoy talking to the young crowd with their tuner cars, and lowriders, customizing their rides, like the older generation has been doing for years. The young people are just as excited about this hobby, as the generations before them. What's really great is when you get the older generation talking with the younger generation. I recently went to a Pre-1954 car show in Tacoma, Washington, and visited with people about their older classics. There is a wealth of information available with the owners of these classics. The great thing is that they love to talk about the cars they own. Most owners will also help you out with any questions you have about the restoration and history of these cars. I usually have one of my sons,Aaron or one or more of my grandchildren help me out at the car shows, and they are having a blast. My point is that we need to involve our kids in the car show hobby. It's good clean fun and we are passing down a legacy to our kids. Check out my grandson Caleb, standing in front of that beautiful 1956 Chevy Pickup. Please check out all the rides at http://www.outrageousrides.com/ , and have a great car show season.
